We paid to get into the drum tower and watched the musical show. We walked around and saw people in their ancient Chinese costumes and also the view from the top looking down over the Muslim quarter … Full review by Locococomama

Very detailed when it comes to the architecture of this building on the outside. The inside does not fail to impress me with more rich history and culture on the Chinese. Very interesting tour! Full review by Aviation C

Not as old as giant goose pagoda, this tower is about 600 years old. Do note it closes at 530pm so don’t arrive too late. You can’t touch most of the drums , but there’s 1 outside you can Full review by bcheong

I found my pic on Tripadvisor. The performance times are 9:10, 10:00, 11:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00. Be 30 minutes early as seats are very limited.

I thought I would follow this up... obviously I checked the various websites for this attraction and got contradictory information. That's why I was asking for clarification here. Anyway, I just got back from Xi'an and both towers closed at 18:00. You can still enjoy seeing them from outside and walking around the area, but to go inside, you must visit before18:00.
